THE FAMILY STAR

THE FAMILY STAR

In every home, there shines a light,
A gentle flame that warms the night.
Not found in riches, nor in gold,
But in the stories love has told.

The family star, so bright, so true,
Guides every heart in all we do.
Through trials deep and journeys far,
We find our way by that one star.

It shines in laughter, pure and clear,
It wipes away each hidden tear.
It binds us close when days grow long,
And fills our souls with endless song.

No storm can dim, no night can fade,
The star whose glow our love has made.
Forever constant, near or far,
Our hearts revolve ’round the family star.

A BEAUTIFUL HEART

A BEAUTIFUL HEART

A beautiful heart is not dressed in gold,
Nor in jewels that glitter, nor treasures untold.
It whispers in kindness, it shines in its grace,
A light ever glowing in time and in space.

It listens with patience, it carries no pride,
It heals broken spirits, it walks by their side.
Through storms and through shadows, its warmth never fades,
It plants seeds of mercy in all it persuades.

A beautiful heart is gentle yet strong,
It lifts up the weary, it rights every wrong.
It speaks without boasting, it gives without end,
It lives as a shelter, a guide, and a friend.

Not seen by the eyes, yet felt deep within,
A heart that is pure is where love will begin.
No crown is more precious, no jewel more apart.
Than the quiet perfection of a beautiful heart.

Do you want me to make it in two pages long like a spoken-word poem (more extended and powerful), or keep it short and lyrical like this?

NO MAN KNOWS TOMORROW

 NO MAN KNOWS TOMORROW

The world is a mystery, a book never done,

Each day a new chapter, each night just begun.

We walk with our plans, our maps, and our schemes,

Yet life often bends them, like rivers in streams.

Who can tell what the morning will bring?

A silence of sorrow, or a bird that will sing?

The rich man today may stumble in need,

The poor man tomorrow may suddenly lead.

Yesterday a merchant counted his gold,

Boasting of riches, so proud and bold.

But a fire at dawn consumed his store,

He rose from wealth and fell to the poor.

A farmer once planted with laughter and cheer,

Dreaming of harvest so heavy, so near.

But clouds gathered dark, the rains did not stay,

And hunger walked slowly across his way.

A prisoner sat in a dungeon, bound,

With chains on his wrists and guards all around.

But mercy arrived, the doors swung wide,

He stepped out in freedom, with tears in his eyes.

Another man strong, with muscles of steel,

Spoke with great power of how he would heal.

Yet sickness crept in like a thief in the night,

He bent to the dust, losing his might.

Kings have fallen, and beggars have risen,

Dreams have escaped, and hope has been prison.

The wheel of fortune turns without end,

It lifts a stranger, it lowers a friend.

The child who plays barefoot upon the ground,

May wear a crown where glory is found.

The scholar who knows every book and line,

May stumble tomorrow, forget, and decline.

What lesson then shall the wise one borrow?

It is simple: no man knows tomorrow.

Do not boast of riches, they fade away,

Do not mock the poor, they may rise one day.

Be gentle in speech, be humble in heart,

For no one can tell how the future will start.

Today you may laugh, tomorrow may weep,

Life’s secret is hidden, its promise deep.

The seed in the soil does not say when,

It only waits for the season again.

The sun may shine, the rain may fall,

But destiny’s voice is above them all.

A soldier may march with courage and pride,

Yet meet his end by the riverside.

A stranger may knock on your humble door,

And change your story forevermore.

So live in kindness, forgive the past,

Do good today, for only that lasts.

The future is sealed in the hands of the skies,

Unknown to the learned, the strong, or the wise.

Tomorrow is mystery, wrapped in disguise,

Beyond the reach of human eyes.

Walk humbly, love deeply, let mercy flow

For truly, tomorrow, no man can know.
